This requires a different answer for The EDT version compared to the EDP and Parfum. The main difference lies in the opening 20-30min. After that, they’re all nearly identical.
EDT Opening – The opening is the most common complaint of this version. Some compare the lemon opening to Lemon Pledge. Personally, I don’t get that. I can agree the opening is a little rough and I can see how it may be off-putting to some.
However, I can say the opening is much smoother, after macerating for several months than when I first got it.
EDP and Parfum Opening – Similar in scent profile to the EDT but much, much smoother. If you want the beautiful scent profile of Aventus right away, these versions are for you.

CDNIM smells most like the 2016 and previous batches. These batches were less fruity, particularly in the opening.
In the mid and dry down they were woodier, darker, and smokier.
If this is your taste, CDNIM is your choice.
How long does Club De Nuit Intense Man last?
In higher heat with sun exposure, I get 8+ hours on my skin.
In cooler weather, I get an easy 10-12+ hours on my skin.
This falls in line with the general consensus in the fragrance community of 8-12 hours of longevity.
There have been reports of bad batches, however, I’m not aware of exactly which batches these were.
How well does Club De Nuit Intense Man project?
For the first 2-3 hours, CDNIM is a beast. I’m talking room filler.
For example, if you’re planning to wear this to the office or any other occasion where you don’t want to offend people, I suggest applying an hour before you leave and going easy on the trigger (2-4 sprays).
What’s the quality of Club De Nuit Intense Man?
EDT – For the first 20-30 min the quality reflects the price. After that, the quality of the scent of phenomenal.
